The Modern Game holds “Game Sense” Seminar

31 Mar The Modern Game holds “Game Sense” Seminar

The Modern Game held a ‘Game Sense’ seminar on March 30th for junior football coaches and enthusiasts and, given the success of the seminar, we are interested to hear from any junior clubs/coaches that are keen to participate in this seminar in the future.

The night was facilitated by Steve Teakel from AFL Victoria and involved a ‘theory’ presentation and an ‘on the ground’ interactive experience.  Through Steve’s engaging style, everyone in attendance not only learnt a lot about Game Sense training, Steve also had them participating in the activities/drills.

The Modern Game would like to thank everyone for attending and Steve for sharing his time, knowledge and experience on the topic. The session was very much aimed at grass roots football, it opened eyes to how teaching methods have changed and everyone was able to take some drills and information away with them that they will be able to implement back at their local clubs with their group of players.

If your club is interested in sending your junior coaches to an enlightening seminar, contact Andy, Mark or Craig at The Modern Game.
